A classic combination of similarly coloured woods. The Solid Rosewood Atlantic Series chess pieces are presented here with a King height of 3.75 inches, perfect to combine with our most popular board. The 19.7 inch Deluxe Wenge board is manufactured to precise standards in Barcelona. This board is standard size at almost 20 inches, allowing it to be placed comfortably on most coffee tables.
The Wenge and Rosewood colour tones on these items is very similar with strong, dark red brown hues and contemporary patterning. The pieces are double weighted and have green flocked bases to protect the board surface. They are hand polished with natural wax to create a subtle sheen which is mirrored in the satin lacquered surface of the Wenge board. The veneer square inlays are perfection itself and provide a playing surface that looks at home in either modern or traditional settings.
