Q. Do the chess sets really look as good as they do in your photographs?
A. Yes, indeed they do. We have taken care to photograph our products in close range in order that you may see details such as colour, finish and the results of fine carving and turning.

Q. Is your entire stock held at your place of business?
A. Yes, all items marked 'in stock' are stored in our shop just north of Toronto and is available for immediate shipment.

Q. I am not a chess player, but I want to buy a gift that is appropriate for a chess player. Can you help with recommendations?
A. Absolutely! Please feel free to call us at (647)-773-5124 . We would love to discuss options that may be appropriate for the recipient of your gift – and we just love to talk chess!

Q. Is my Credit Card information safely protected when I purchase from your company website?
A. Yes, our online ordering system is secure. We use industry standard security to ensure encryption of all data. All of our payment processing is fully PCI compliant. No customer information is shared with third parties.

Q. Am I able to return my chess set for a full refund if I don't like it?
A. Yes, we offer a complete refund for all products returned within 30 days from receipt. Please see our Delivery and Returns page for further details.

Q. What is the country of origin of your chess sets?
A. Our wooden chess products are from England, Germany, USA and India. Only our plastic sets, for schools and clubs, are sourced from China.

Q. Why do you say that your pieces are the world's finest?
A. The Regency Chess Company has engaged in an exclusive arrangement with the world’s finest manufacturer of wooden chess pieces. We have examined the products of all of the various wooden chess piece manufacturers and we have partnered with the very best. Our premium chess pieces are made of select fine woods that are designed, carved, turned, polished and finished to perfection.

Q. Which delivery service do you use?
A. We use Canada Post and UPS.

Q. Why do you refer to some chess pieces as being "Investment Grade"?
A. Our luxury chess pieces are made from fine woods such as ebony, mahogany, rosewood and red sandalwood. Some of these woods are being restricted for harvest in many areas of the world, and as such supply is being restricted.
