Unique Chess Pieces

For a chess set that is out of the ordinary, you have arrived on the right page.

The Antipodean Chess Set uses a style of pieces common to Eastern Europe – with Bishops, Queens and Kings topped with wood of the opposite colour. Although the knight is modelled after an ancient Etruscan statue, it can easily be seen as a modern or contemporary chess set. The intricately carved Lotus Flowers pieces are a not uncommon pre-Staunton design. Theses ornate chess sets have been carved and formed on a micro level with excellent attention to detail.

In the future we will be adding metal chess sets, Isle of Lewis chess sets, marble chess sets and more.
