Exquisitely detailed, tournament size Staunton design, these chess pieces are created in exotic solid rosewood and boxwood. Each piece is carved or turned by hand, carefully polished, weighted and balanced to perfection. The grain of the rosewood is distinctive, full of character and looks truly stunning when displayed on the correct chess board. This set of pieces is presented with 2 additional queens, for promotion.

The world famous Rechapados Ferrer, based in Spain, use modern fabrication techniques to create high quality and perfectly finished chess boards. In particular, this high grade walnut and maple veneered creation works really well with stunning grain details in both the rosewood pieces and the walnut veneers.
