Beautifully hand crafted in Italy
Exceptional quality
High gloss lacquer finish
16.75 inch luxury board
1.6 inch playing squares
Ideal for a king height of 3 inches

Designed and hand inlaid in Italy, this dark grey burl chess board is a work of art. Finished in a very high gloss lacquer, the wood grain and knotting of the burl has an amazing depth. The inlaid veneer squares are bordered with a thin veneer of ebony that sections of the playing area from the edge. The underside of the board features a lacquered wooden veneer and has felting pads to protect surfaces underneath. This deep monochrome colour of this board looks very contemporary and would best suit either Brass, Ebony or Red Sandalwood pieces with a king height of approximately 3 inches. Italian design excellence.

Weight: 2.1kg
Materials: Erable Wood, Ebony, Elm

Board Thickness: 0.75 inches (1.91 cm)
Square Size: 1.6 inches (4.06 cm)

Please note: due to wood being a natural and therefore inconsistent material, weights are approximate and won't be exact and this may also result in both burl and color variations.
