This large chess set combines the famous Isle of Lewis chess pieces with a beautiful Tiger Ebony and Maple chess board. The chess pieces are an authentic reproduction of the original Isle of Lewis museum artefacts.

These phenomenal chess pieces made in the UK. They have been created from laser scans of the originals in the museum. The Lewis figures have become legendary throughout the world due to their fascinating history, steeped in Celtic and Nordic folklore.

The large Spanish chess board is almost 22 inches (55 cm). These chess pierces require a large square size in order to accommodate their formidible bases. The beautiful rich grain patterns of black and brown complement the colour of the chess pieces and add to the mythical look of the set.

The highest quality Isle of Lewis chess sets are available here at The Regency Chess Company.
