Weighted for perfect balance
19 inch (50 cm) mahogany and maple board
Carry bag for safe storage of pieces

This chess set combines the superb Jacob Knight Series Staunton Chess Pieces with an attractive mahogany and maple chess board. The chess pieces have been expertly crafted from graded sheesham and boxwood and are double weighted and have excellent balance. They have tall and elegant proportions and have been finished off by hand with a natural polish. The uniformity of the pieces is outstanding - you would be hard pressed to find any variation in the knights and you will not find a set with better consistency for the price. A carry bag is included.

The chess board has been manufactured in Europe using sustainable plantation woods. The inlays of mahogany and maple are expertly aligned to create the checker board and then a thin layer of satin varnish seals the board from spills and scuffs.
