20 Inch Silicone Board with Blue Squares

This is the latest in chess board design - in bright blue! The flexible and super floppy regulation size tournament chess board lies perfectly flat. It very easy to clean and is extremely durable. Algebraic coordinates are printed on the sides for reference when recording or discussing games. Corners are rounded off.

Unlike vinyl boards, pieces cannot slide over the rubbery surface. However, most chess players simply pick up their pieces and drop them on the destination square. Due to the nature of silicone, the printing is accurate but the squares are not perfectly uniform in colour intensity – but you will only notice if you look very closely!

Perhaps the greatest advantage in owning this board lies in storing the board when not in use. Conventional vinyl boards must be laid flat or rolled up – but never folded. These high-grade silicone boards can be folded, rolled up or just thrown into a corner. No matter how you store them they always retain their original shape – perfectly flat on a flat surface!
