Handturned by Italian Craftsmen
Simplistic yet Striking Design
2.75" King
Weighted for Perfect Balance
Ideally suited to a 17" Board

Simplicity on a chessboard can be sobering in a game of such complex dimensions, which is why the Metropolis Series Chess Pieces are a favorite here at Regency Chess.

Each individual hand turned piece is made from solid Brass, with the darker pieces then carefully plated in Nickel.

The Metropolis Series Chess Pieces own a modern, minimalistic personality that commands attention immediately. They are, decoratively speaking, extraordinary. Thanks to a well-weighted design and slender framing these pieces are also fantastic to play with.

Every one of these lean pieces has a protective pad on the bottom, made from vibrant red felt.

The King’s diameter is slightly less that 1 inch and commands a board size of at least 17 inches.
