This beautiful Black & White Alabaster chess set is hand made by the Italian artisans of Scali Alabastro. This luxurious all Alabaster chess board has been created from inset squares of solid Alabaster. The surface is finished to a uniformly brilliant gloss. The chess pieces are crafted by hand from solid Alabaster and are presented in a high polished gloss classic Staunton style. This set displays well in modern contemporary settings.

Please note that Alabaster is a fine grained mineral rock, not manufactured, and as such may have small, such as salt deposits, that are naturally integrated into the Alabaster.
