The National Museums Scotland official Isle of Lewis chess pieces are now available in a mid sized version! As the base of the original sized pieces was quite large, it requires a large board with large squares. This version of set rests on a smaller sixteen inch chess board and is a smaller version of our very popular Lewis Walnut And Maple Chess Set.

The chess pieces are the official and highly detailed pieces from National Museums Scotland. They have been produced from precisely accurate laser scans of the originals to represent the very best replica pieces to be found in the world. The walnut veneer board comes from our valued partner and reputable supplier Rechapados Ferrer of Spain. The board has been made to exacting quality standards and is a nice complement to these amazing pieces. This is an exciting historical set that will spark conversation.
