The DGT3000 is the world’s most advanced digital chess clock. It was used in the November 2014 World Chess Championship match between Magnus Carlsen of Norway and Viswanathan Anand of India. This new and improved upgrade to the DGT XL was released in October 2014. The 25 pre-set timing options cover all the standards including Bronstein, Fischer and for Go Byo-yomi, and Canadian Byo-yomi. The timer is compatible with or without all DGT Electronic Chess Boards. In addition to the Owner’s Manual (also see free downloadable manual below), there is an interesting time-line leaflet that shows the release of DGT products corresponding to the reigns of all 16 World Chess Champions.
