Metal Chess Sets

Fine Italian Metal Chess Sets

The Metal Chess Sets in our collection feature a very nice level of detail. Our primary supplier, the renowned firm of Italfama of Florence, is a brand synonymous with quality and good taste.

A Lasting investment
These durable Italian chess pieces represent an investment rather than just a purchase. For example, the Finnesburg Brass and Olive Luxury Chess Set, will prove to be a set that can be passed down for generations. The exceptional pieces are hand crafted in Florence, Italy by a team of experienced artisans.

Italfama Craftsmanship

The Regency Chess Company is proud to the Canadian stockists of the Italfama metal chess sets. We started working with this experienced Italian company after learning their most interesting manufacturing process. Each individual metal chess piece is slowly formed from a moulding machine that was initially put into operation over 30 years ago. Molten Nickel or Brass is gradually and carefully poured into casts. The pieces are left to gradually cool over night. Once hardened, the pieces are removed from the casts. At this point the pieces are finished by hand.
